Lexi comes to an end with some lovely light

After dumping 12 plus inches of heavy wet snow Lexi was done and the skies opened up briefly. Some beautiful light on the tops of the trees forced me to stop shoveling and grab my camera for a few shots.  Sure was nice to take a break from shoveling.

Absolutely STUNNING! And if you didn’t need to shovel, you may have missed it — unthinkable.

Thank you Nancy – so I guess shoveling was a good thing. Regards.

    Hi Shiv,
What beautiful landscapes, stunning light in the background and beauty to the trees. The entire landscape surrounding the home is absolutely amazing in the winter wonderland! I was out there too, but we did not get the sun or light before sunset. My treat after two hours of shoveling was to say yes, did it! But the best part was looking up just before I came back in to see heavenly brilliant stars in the sky as clouds opened up above the snow covered limbs in the majestic oaks.

Thanks Karen – it is magical what nature does. Ah! the stars – may be tonight I will try my hand at digiscoping some.
